Algae and moss make paving slippery as well as dull. We treat the growth, jet wash at a pressure matched to the surface, and finish the joints — so the drive or patio looks right and stays that way for longer.

How we do it
- We look at the surface and the joints, and set the pressure to suit.
- Algae and black spot are pre-treated where needed.
- The paving is jet washed and rinsed evenly, edges and all.
- Once dry, block paving joints are re-filled with kiln-dried sand.
Questions
Before you book
Will a jet wash damage my paving?
It can if the pressure is wrong, which is why we set it for the surface. Anything already loose or cracked is pointed out before we start.
Why re-sand block paving?
Jet washing takes some of the sand out of the joints, and the sand is what locks the blocks together and keeps weeds out. Brushing kiln-dried sand back in finishes the job.
Why treat the algae as well?
A jet wash lifts what is on the surface, but black spot and algae root into the paving. Treating them clears what pressure alone leaves behind.
Will old oil stains come out?
Often, but deep or old stains can fade rather than disappear completely. We will tell you straight before we start.
How long does it stay clean?
It depends on shade and trees. Most drives and patios suit a clean about once a year, usually in spring.
Regular visits, or one-off cleans?
Either. Every service can be booked as a regular round or as a single visit, whichever suits the house.
